Thigh Lift

Thigh Lift surgery aims to tighten and reshape sagging or loose skin around the thighs, and may help reduce excess fat or bulges of the inner or outer thigh.

Thigh lift may help patients that are having trouble reshaping their thighs despite diet and exercise or if they have lost a significant amount of weight and wish to reduce excess sagging skin.

Treating the outer thigh typically requires an incision from the natural lower crease of the buttocks extending forward, hidden under a modest bikini brief

Treating the inner thigh requires an incision in the natural groin crease area that may extend downward along the inner most aspect of the thigh.

If liposuction is indicated as an additional procedure, this can be accomplished without further incisions.

Thigh lift surgery is done in an outpatient setting under general anesthesia. A thigh lift may require an overnight stay when combined with other procedures.

Recovery depends on the extent of your procedure. We encourage patients to walk around the home starting the day after your surgery; a return to more normal activity may take 2-3 weeks.

A compression garment may be recommended during your recovery to help reduce fluid retention and shape your new curves.

Results may be long-term, but weight loss/gain or pregnancy may alter your appearance.
